1) How long is a cylinder good for?
- As long as the cylinder is in good shape it is good for 12 years from the manufacturer's date stamped on the cylinder.
2) Can a cylinder be filled after the manufacturer's date range is expired?
- After the 12 year initial use from manufacturer's stamped date, the cylinder needs to be re-inspected.
If it passes inspection, it is valid for another 5 years from the new date stamped on it.
3) Can I exchange any brand of cylinder in a Pelican cage?
- Yes. If the cylinder is the same size and in good working order you can exchange it at any Pelican cage for a refill.
4) Are cylinders in a Pelican cage filled all the way? I've heard some companies do not fill them all the way?
- Yes. All Pelican cylinders are filled to the maximum manufacturer's safe specifications and not the minimum allowed to be considered full.
5) Can I order service for an exchange at home without being home?
-Yes. Select the item that you would like. Choose your payment method. Leave notes as to where the cylinder will be located. Your cylinder will be swapped out.
6) How long will it take for my cylinder to be swapped out at home once I place the order online?
- once the order is received, your full cylinder with green cap should be delivered to you within 24 business hours
7) Is there a delivery charge for an exchange delivered to my doorstep?
-No. The price you see online includes delivery to your location providing it is in our delivery area.
